So I just received my knife roll and I couldnt wait to try it out. I have a lot of knives and I like the fact the roll has plenty of pockets to hold them. Unfortunately I have a 13in shun slicer a 10 in shun blue series and a 10 in Miyabi and all three extend over the edge of the roll. They will still roll within but the leather flap. But the knives have to lay over the leather flaps, and won't work with them because they are too long. If you have longer knives and don't mind them sticking out of the sides of the roll....then its all good. Just make sure you have some knife guards on hand.The quality of the leather is good for knives it is durable but feels stiff and thin. My concern is the longevity. But only time will tell on that. In all its ok. It will do the job. But perhaps not totally worth the price. If it was wider then I think I would have given it 5 stars.Since buying my roll I have received several compliments on it and there is some "bag envy" In my kitchen now. ?I'd like to start off by saying for the price it is worth every penny. I found the hardware (copper looking rivets and clasps) to definitely be on the cheap side but the leather and stitching is top-notch genuinely a beautiful knife bag. I think the dimensions could be a little wider or do away with the rivets at the bottom of the knife holder giving a much-needed extra inch for a larger knife to fit. These things aside I am very happy with my purchase and would have gladly paid a little more for a little nicer Hardware.Probably would have , knowing what I know now, spent $150 more on a custom one!just the best I'm a 17 yr old vet of the culinary arts n this roll up is just right if ur a pro you will love it ... just the best.....I just received this bag a couple of minutes ago and I'm printing the returning label...The leather is extremely thin, the bag it's small, (if you have large knifes/spoons/spatulas/etc stay away) the mini bag inside for stuff it's a neat idea but it's too small and gets in your way when you roll the bag...If you carry the bag using the handle, it's blends because doesn't have a support and the thin leather...I was looking forward to have this bag and was a big, big disappointmentThe pockets are smallIt's a very nicely designed bag with plenty of space. When I received it though the quality of the leather seemed a bit cheap and was not what I was expecting.Well I bought this for my cousin who is a chef , and he's totally in love with it
