I first purchased a size 8 based on the manufactures sizing chart, I am a size 6 in pants and S in tops, and it was up my butt and not comfortable. That was the only size this vendor had in stock. I did a search for the suit and a vendor (Cabana) on Amazon popped up. Based on the size chart I ordered a 10 this time. Again too small. I did not find much of a size difference between how the size 8 and 10 fit. I contacted Cabana and I requested an exchange for a size 12 which they had in stock. I like to be reasonably comfortable in a bathing suit and do not want it up my butt. Size 12 worked for me. Very sexy bathing suit just not really designed to swim in it. I kept the 12.
